Aweee, look at my snakey ring, he's so happy in his natural habitat, crawling up his little branch like he was meant to! When me and momma took these pictures, it's was raining slightly, hence the spots on my skirt and mud splotches on my shoes. It was difficult to balance on a slippery rock with five inch heels, but somehow I did it. But snakey loved the rain, of course.
Jah! So the other day as I was browsing the internets, a pair of adorable clog heels magically appeared on a website that I spazztastically sent to my mom, who spazztastically ordered them the next morning. They were on sale for $25.00 the night before when I sent them (it was 11:00pm and not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse) but the next day they went up to $35.00. Still affordable, but that made me a little mad that I could have saved ten bucks. Once the clogs arrived, though, they were surprisingly good quality. I was expecting this thin material over the shoes but it's actually really thick, and the heels very sturdy. They are five inches high and make me over six feet tall, but they're still rather rad.
I noticed that I tend to not smile very much in my pictures, for when I seldom do, I end up looking like a crazed hyena who just ate a very big cob of corn. That is not the impression I would like to give. Not at all. Maybe just a little bit. I also tend to turn my head to the right (left on the screen). Do you guys have any picture-taking habits or poses you always seem to utilizeee?

ReplyDeleteAh you got your clog sandals!!! They are fantastic! and such a steal. Love them!
ReplyDeleteYou know I have my um, three poses I seem to cycle through. I try different ones, but always end up hating them and wanting the tried and true 'good angles'.

You are such a classic beauty! And how beautiful are those clog sandals!? I feel you on the price thing, whereas mine was the exact opposite. After drooling over a modcloth dress, I finally took the plunge and ordered it. Less than a week later, it was on sale. :/
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, you are so glamorous it's ridiculous (awesome ridiculous, not bad ridiculous). You look great! I love your clogs and super cute snake ring :)
ReplyDeleteI love your combination of black pieces in very different textures.
ReplyDeleteThose clogs are a beautiful find!
Christy of Dress Rehearsal
Cute clogs and blouse! Haha I try to smile in my pictures, otherwise I look so grumpy and unhappy.
ReplyDeleteOMG I HAVE SERIOUSLY BEEN LOOKING FOR A SNAKE RING LIKE THAT FOREVERRRR.
ReplyDeleteNow thats out of my system...I love the silhouette of this outfit. And the bling on the shirt. It's so sophisticated and classy and very feminine but with a kick.

ReplyDeletealksdjlajd GAHH SO FIERCE GIRL. I love the all black look. You look like this rocker victorian chick. (I think "Victorian" comes from your background...)
ReplyDeleteAnd that's really suckish about the clog price upper thing. Why do they do that? Such a dissappointment. Whatever, they're AMAZING. They look like they cost way more than $35 so YAY FOR MONEY WELL SPENT.
I always skip/ smile/ flip my hair/ jump/ awkwardly pose in photos. Hahaha. I'm the opposite of you - I can't NOT smile in photos otherwise I look like a hyena or whatever you described your smile as haha. Throw us off by smiling like CUHRAZY in an upcoming post!

Ra raaaaa girl (did that just make any sense? not really, but you know us), this outfit is DARINGLY GORGEOUS (yes, all in caps!). I absolutely am in love with that flowy top-- and I'm definitely jealous of your generous mother who'd buy shoes for you. D: But then, I guess my mom is less stingy, more... hey, you should pay for stuff yourself. *sigh* Facts of life.
ReplyDeleteBUT. yes, I love the all-black-chic outfit, it's monochromatic, but never boring!

Cute and sparkly, yay. I always tilt weirdly to one side and flounce my skirt haha! I have no idea why, just got into the habit.
ReplyDeleteI can't take non-smiling photos properly! They always look silly. I'm usually laughing when I take mine!
Ah, what a wonderful snake... and I just adore that picture! I tend to try to put as many facial expressions on as possible, knowing that my unphotogenic nature will eliminate most of them! I seem to be improving from having my picture taken so much though!
ReplyDeleteThat is a dreamy top! I like the pairing with your new clogs. I wish I could do those high heels. You really pull it off.
ReplyDeleteLove the ring and those shoes! These photos look great!
ReplyDeleteAww the snake in it's natural habitat. That is so cute!
