Dear friends, today I haven't much to say,
for I must fly so soon away
to a place where I can soon discover,
determine, and hopefully, uncover
my favorite candy that I like to eat
that tastes nothing of boiled beets
but resembles an explosion of sugary crows
whilst playing together on fancy game shows.
Today a dragonfly landed on me,
upon my finger, and I felt so free.
So off, I am off, I bid you adieu,
and here's your advice: do not eat bamboo.

P.S. I couldn't think of anything that rhymed with "curl" except for hurl. Which is the opposite of what I'm going for. I never realized how awesome your hair is and I love how, at the bottom, it curls! (And that does not make me want to hurl...)

I have some really sad
news for you.
I finished the artwork of you. I ended up painting the entire thing with watercolors then going over certain parts of it with charcoal to give it a wishy-washy shadow effect. The lyrics "life inside the music box ain't easy" from Regina Spektor's "Music Box" were above your head (you were painted as a ballerina in a music box!) with random words from the song scattered everywhere else.
Notice how I keep saying "was" and "were"?
Exactly. My vicious puppy got ahold of the paper I'd painted on.. I didn't get around to photographing it once I'd finished, although... well, I can photograph the gross picture now. There's doggy slobber all over it, chunks are missing, and it's smudged. But if you squint.. You can almost tell what it was?
