Highlighted Highways Can't Lead My Way

Mother dear says she will help with outfit pictures again once I fill out some college applications. I could use my loyal tripod, Jean Bob II, to take pictures, but I'm still too afraid to venture out with him alone, and at least if momma is there, it's not as awkward, seeing as how we now like taking pictures in places where more people are likely to walk by. I will fill these applications out as quick as a speeding bullet! Or a speeding bullet through water! Really though, I think a speeding bullet through concrete describes my determination to get these done. Maybe in a few days this sunburn will go away, too. I'm sort of sad I got a little bit tan, I kind of like being so pale that you can pretty much see through my skin. Dang.

My friend actually was playing around with my camera and took this. I edited it to make it seem rainbow-y. Fun stuff, right right?

Your comment was too sweet, and this post made my day! My mom is the same way! And about the pale thing-- I love being pale, whereas my mom is a tanning queen (Yeah, she's that girl.) You are too adorable! I think that if we lived nearby we'd be such great friends!!

Such a cool old fashioned phone and nice shot!

where are you applying to?

And yes, Eric is one sexy beast. I love him. He's evil and horrible most of the time, but I don't care at all.

Do it! Do it! It's a pain in the butt sometimes, but the results are always worth it :-) To answer your question (extremely late): I use a Canon Rebel XS and I love it! It's such a great camera for the money and you can stock up on lenses that you can always use for an upgrade.

My mom actually takes nearly all of my photos as well. She even bought me a tripod that is happily collecting dust by the coatrack. :)
Good luck with your college applications! They're a pain but it's a huge relief when they're over with :)

Haha! Your mom sounds like mine about applications... but I can only imagine what she'd say if she knew I had a blog. Just think how many applications I could be filling out at this moment... oh the wasted time!

good luck with your college applications! you better get them done ASAP so you can take and post more outfit pictures. i always go to secluded areas with my tripod. but i know what you mean, sometimes the prettiest places have way too many people that using a tripod is just sketchy (and risky).

hope your sunburn heals up :D

Ooh, good luck! Such a time-consuming process :( I hope you post more often! I always go back to reply to a comment and then feel awkward about commenting on the same post and so...I do not reply :( which is sad!

good luck on your college applications. Those can be evil things.

I often feel a bit awkward taking photos in a place where there are tons of people. I feel like I look so self centered.

THAT'S AN AWESOME PICTURE. Photoshop skillz? Skillz in general? Go your skillz? YES.

And ohhh mother dearie. Good luck with the applications! I would say more but the thought of said applications equals stress stress STRESS. So therefore I will move on and maybe as you where you're applying to? OKAY.

I like the sound a recycling bin makes when it deletes something too! Ah, it's so satisfying!
