Ambulances and Ice Cream Trucks

It has been a long week and a half, my friends. A very long week and a half. Rumors of my demise have been extremely exaggerated and utterly made up, for I still live on. And so I excuse my absence and hope to start anew. So today, I got up, put some makeup on, brushed my hair a bit, and took some pictures in this dandy little outfit. I feel so dedicated! I love this shirt so much, I'm so super obsessed with stripes. I counted how many striped shirts I have in my closet and I have six. Eight if that includes vertically striped shirts. Intense? Perhaps so. And even after acquiring more and more striped shirts, I still hover toward them in stores like a bologna-eating person does to bologna.

So, good citizens, I ask you this today: what exactly keeps you busy and away from your blog?

Top: Urban Outfitters
Skirt: handmade by Gramma Nami
Belt: Fossil, thrifted for $3
Socks: Forever 21
Shoes: Chelsea Crew

first of all, I LOVE YOUR SHIRT. second of all, CAN I STEAL YOUR GRANDMA FOR A WEEKEND? That skirt is so lovely, especially with the belt. :)

School work is definitely what keeps me away from my blog. Also, other obligations like events I have to attend. Plus, it's nice to just hang out with friends instead of staying cooped up in front of your computer and blogging. :P but i love it anyway. <3

Oh man, what doesn't keep me away from blogging?! School is the numero uno crappy thing keeping me busy right now, which is not fun! :( Congrats to you for stepping up and putting together such a cute outfit! I love stripes too- I have three striped shirts right now... going to have to step up my game to get to 8 like you! ;)

Uh, at this point it's fuggin' LIFE that keeps me away from my blog. Though frankly, it doesn't keep me away from blogs in general (hence why I'm alive and avidly typing here). But lately I've been barring myself from blogging, and I miss my baby. :( haha how sad am I?

PS: WOAH GIRL, pattern mixing? I have a love affair with stripes too, they're always a favorite. This outfit is so wonderfully colorful!

PPS: Oh yah btw, did you still want to do that whole blogger-style-switch-up-thing-I-dunno? Email me if you still wanna. :)

Your skirt is so cute, and I too have become perhaps a bit too infatuated wtih stripey tops (and skirts and a scarfs and who knows what else...)

Love your red socks with the cut out pumps, so fab!

And what could possibly keep me away from blogging - ha! I'd have to have some kind of demanding job or social life.

I love love love this look! Stripes and florals together make me so happy! And you look so lovely :)

Oh my goodness. I think school work and laziness and getting home when it's dark keep me from blogging. What're you gonna do, you know?

Stripes are so always-ever-in-style! I say buy 6 (or 8) more! I love this look paired with the small flower print skirt. It's very sweet-yet-nautical. And the red socks with the black shoes? Shut it down!
I'm glad you're back to blogging, although I say when you wanna break, take one! I hope I never feel like blogging is drudgery.

Ugh, so many things keep me away from my blog...but sometimes I need a blogging break too.

Those puffed sleeves are precious :) it's a bit lame when life gets busy, isn't it? But sort of exciting, as well!

what a talented grandma you have. i wish mine was cool like yours. haha. but to answer you.. it's definitely school that keeps me away from my blog. i'm just too busy to take photos, and read everyone's blogs! and i feel bad about posting without getting back to people. so it just gets delayed haha.. oh dear.
