Prepare for Takeoff!

__________I'm feeling a bit like a flight attendant today. Maybe it's the chevron earrings, the jacket details, or the fact that my hair is done up for the first time in Ali blog post history (this might constitute a trend, you have been warned). Whatever it is, I feel the need to tell everyone to buckle their seat belts and prepare for a plane journey that's chock-full of wind turbulence.

__________I haven't eeeever worn this dress in an outfit post before, which is quite a shame since it's such a lovely lovely shade of fuchsia and ever so flippy and floppy. You see, I have this habit where I don't want to wear something new until I've documented it in an outfit post... is that... strange? I am pretty sure I'm the only one who does it. It's like I want the new-ness of it to shine on in an outfit post before I can experiment with it again. Now that's it's worn though, I am excited to do things with it!

Dress: Modcloth, gifted
Blazer: Forever 21
Heels: Ross or TJ Maxx idk they're ancient
Earrings: Charming Charlie's

I love the jacket. It reminds me of a marching band jacket (in all the awesomest ways possible!) and I like like like how the chevrons echo the lines in your earrings too.
So what would you rather: Airline attendant or leader of the band? Either way, so pretty!

I LOVE this outfit. The gold against jewel colours + sharp military cut = brilliance. That jacket is super, and somehow makes this entire thing look Art Deco.

Um, you're gorgeous and you should model. I love you with your hair up! I definitely get the flight attendant vibe from your outfit and i love it. Maybe a flight attendant in the air force (I know, they don't have any). And I definitely do the same thing with some of my clothes. It's not wearable in real life until it's been on my blog. :P Can't wait to see how you style it up next.

The way the earrings complement the jacket is so! very! much! RIGHT! ON!

You look so lovely! That jacket makes me think of both space exploration and marching bands - two great things!
I aaaalways want to document when I wear something new and try to wear my new clothes on a day I know I'll be able to take outfit pictures.
