Casual Navy

______One thing I've never really posted before is what a casual outfit of mine would be--basically an outfit which I normally wouldn't take blog pictures in. This is an example of that. I feel like my casual style is completely different from my dressy style--much more toned down and a lot less fussy with the colors and fit of things. Of course, were this truly a casual look of mine, I probably wouldn't be wearing all those weighty bracelets or the red booties. Or the earrings. Or have my nails painted to match my shirt. Hell, I probably wouldn't even be wearing clothes, but we'll not get into that. Hey now, I have to look like I tried a little bit, don't I?

Shirt: Jones New York (via Ross Dress for Less)
Shorts: Charlotte Russe
Booties: Charlotte Russe
Gigantor gold bangle: Lulu*s
Other bracelets: gifted from the lovely grandma Nami
Nail color: Thinking of Blue by Sally Hansen

Haha, way to put in a little effort Ali ;)
I just love those red boots! They're so...wow...just eye catching and make me want to reach through the screen and snatch them off your feet!
Okay, that was a little weird...
Anywaaaaay, haha, I like your casual look. Very cute and stylish still!
I've started getting more relaxed and less dressy with my posts too since it's summer and I'm not dressing up for school anymore.

Those boots are AWESOME! I love the bright red. You have quite the brightly colored shoe collection...i'm recalling a pair of highlighter sneakers! I think it's good to post a casual outfit now and again. They are what we REALLY wear, and hey, you run a personal style blog, right? :) Love all of your accessories, too. That's an easy way to make your simple look not so simple! Good choice of bracelets and earrings. I never know how/when to wear earrings. They always conflict with the giant necklaces I insist upon wearing! Oh well, I suppose through trial and error I'll learn. Okay, I'm rambling now. So basically I like your boots, accessories, and oh yeah: your pictures rock as always! :)

Personally, I love when bloggers post their more "casual" outfits. Because, let's just be REAL for a second, not everyone wears dresses and lace all the time. This is such a cute outfit! I love the colors. Those red booties are out of control cool!

with fab accessories like that awesome bracelet, you really can't look casual, it's just not possible.

and hello pop of red! gorgeous!

(and as for TB - I don't get HBO so I can't watch it until someone nice invites me over to their house, so I haven't been able to watch the premier yet.)

And now with the red boots! Is it just me or have you been rocking some pretty awesome red pieces of late? Maybe just awesome color in general... either way, sold.

Ahhh everytime I see the red boots, I want it! so bright and it looks nice with the navy colors in this outfit. hehe your casual outfit still looks so stylish. But I love seeing posts like this because I like seeing what other people wear on a casual, non-blogging day.

I love how you made a simple outfit stand out SO much with a pair of bright red booties. They're absolutely amazing. I'm a bit obsessed honestly. I hope to find something similar asap.
