______Last week, eShakti sent me this lovely navy dress with chunky black buttons which trace the neckline, chunky black buttons that I adore. Adore, I say. The dress came swiftly in the mail--in under a week, which is astounding considering it was customized--and fit just as expected. In the past, I have selected dresses from them which use my specific measurements for a custom fit, but this time around since I had nobody to measure me (#foreveralone), I opted for my usual size and just customized the dress in the form of adding longer sleeves and chopping the skirt length to something shorter.

______eShakti offers sizes 0-36W and a variety of customization details beyond your body's measurements and height: varying sleeve lengths, necklines, adding or removing pockets, dress length, color, and more depending on the specific garment you've selected. So even if a dress seems a little "off" and doesn't necessarily pique your full interest at first, you can tailor it into whatever you'd like. In the end, that basically means you could customize every dress on their website into something you'd like. And that's dangerous, my friends.

______I'm super excited to talk to you guys about eShakti today: I spoke to them last week and they sent me this gorgeous customize-fit contrast collar dress in the mail the other day, and I am already certain it's become one of my favorite pieces in the history of ever. Upon opening the package, I swooned, fell on the floor, got back up, saw the dress again, and fell down again. I had to take a breath before I got back up again. I think this may be love: I've always wanted a black dress with white collars and white cuffs on the sleeves. I feel like you could dress it up, dress it down, wear it to go grocery shopping, wear it the Hogwarts Yule Ball, wear it to time travel to another dimension...

______I could go on, but I will spare you.





______I was surprised it came so fast especially for being a custom-made piece. It has a little "CUSTOM" tag sewn in on the collar and took under a week from the day it was ordered to arrive at my doorstep. It has plenty of fine pleats, a zip-up back, and a hook at the top to ensure it stays closed.

______Besides the impeccable quality and endless pages of classic styles to scroll through, their support team is hecka friendly and very responsive to any questions or concerns you may have. Not that you'd have any questions or concerns since they're irrevocably splendid. Yeah, I said that. Customer service: five out of five stars, plus one of those puffy star stickers filled with liquid and sparkles that's immensely cooler than a regular gold star. The highest honor. Am I sounding too cheesy yet? Good deal. I always wanted to be a Cheeto.

______This site knows how to fit a girl; if you don't want a standard size for fear that it's too standard and will give you too much boobie room and not enough waist space to eat more than a few peas, take a go at their custom tool! All you need is a few measurements and you're set to go. I set my measurements to about an inch more than they actually were and I got the perfect fit with just enough wiggle room since the material doesn't have much give. I'd say you'd be pretty safe putting your regular measurements in, but my body is finicky and likes to change measurements a few inches on me throughout the day.



______Not only can you enter your own measurements for a perfect fit, but you can change whether or not you want pockets, alter the sleeve types, and play with the dress or skirt length, too! I opted for a mini dress, custom fit, and chose to keep the pockets because who doesn't like pockets? You can put all sorts of things in them: spare change, string cheese snacks, rocks you stumble across which are shaped like celebrities noses, and that lollipop you stole from an infant in the grocery store* you wore this dress to.

Pewter Rose + eShakti Review

______When I was contacted by the lovely people over at eShakti to do a product review on one of their items, I couldn't have been more ecstatic.  I've heard a positive thing or two about their company before, and now I must share my equally pleasant experience with you!

______If you haven't heard of them before, eShakti is a women's clothing website which offers tons upon tons of pretty dresses, skirts, jackets, and tops, all which come in a custom cut size anywhere from 0-36W.  Or if you want something made with your measurements, you can do that, too--you just have to pay a little extra (though your first custom dress will add no extra cost to the initial order).  In addition, you can choose the dress length or if you want a different sleeve type.  Basically, you can do whatever you want.  Who doesn't love customization?  People who are squares, that's who.





______It was difficult to choose between so many beautiful pieces, but in the end, I opted for the Pewter Rose Jaquard Dress with custom sizing.  When the dress came (and ever so quickly, especially considering the busy winter holidays!), I was delighted to find that it fit like a dream.  I've never really purchased a knee-length dress before, but I decided to be a little daring and go for it, and boy, am I glad I did!  I quite like the modest flair that a longer length dress adds.  The full, twirly skirt is also a big plus, and the material is so high-quality and has a nice sheen to it.  I also love the high neckline and zippered back design.  This dress is gorgeous and makes me feel like the classiest lady who ever lived.

______Why, wearing it made me feel like a cutesy housewife from the 50s who had just baked a cherry pie for her loving husband, Charles, after he came home from a long shift at work.  I can see it now--we would have been eating our warm pie on a stylish sea foam carpet whilst watching I Love Lucy and discussing the latest news concerning hula hoops and Buddy Holly.

______Oh, did I mention this dress has pockets, too?  Because I discovered that shortly after taking these.  Any dress with pockets is a win in my book.  Functional and fabulous.



______I personally find it awesome that there's a company out there that realizes that we ladies don't come in the same size all the time--even if I'm a size 4, someone else might be a size 4 but be shorter and, unlike me, actually have boobies, and thus need a differently shaped dress that gives them more boobie storage.  eShakti gets that.  eShakti gets you.

______Now go check out their pretty clothes, or face impending doom.  I know I wouldn't hesitate to order something from eShakti in the future, and you shouldn't either!
