Oh, Voluminous Batwings

______I had a pretty good weekend. Yesterday, le family took a trip out to a local state park to attend a "Trader Days" event! It was basically like a giant outdoor thrift or craft mall of sorts, where a bunch of local artisans and collectors of things arranged their wares beneath an array of tents. There was actually a ton of neat stuff--I ended up getting three really neat necklaces, one which included some matching earrings. This one lady had a mad collection of costume and antique jewelry, and when I told her I would give her twenty dollars for a necklace, she bumped it down to fifteen! It was rather lovely of her to do so since I'm really no good at bartering... or social situations in general.

______I also worked my first pool shift of the summer on Saturday. Kind of exciting, I suppose! It'll be nice to finally have a steady supply of moolah these next few months, even if they're not suuuuper huge paychecks. All I really have to do is keep the pool clean and make sure that no thugs set anything on fire. Other than that, it's basically a sit-and-make-sure-that-the-pool-guests-behave kind of job. That, and a play-Pokemon-when-everyone-is-behaving kind of job.

______Hope your week is going smoothly!

THAT SHIRT! I love it! You look so super dooper lovely. That skirt pattern is swell as well. And that craft fair sounds great! I'm the worst at bartering. Well, I've never tried it, but I know I would be the worst at it. I'd be afraid of insulting/short changing someone. Eek!
And any job that allows for the playing of pokemon is a COOL JOB.

Oh my god, I am DYING over that skirt. I demand you give it to me. Even though I'd never get it over my hips.
Still.
Love the vintage coach as well!

Woah your top is soooo flowy and cool and I LOVE the print of your skirt! The top and the skirt looks so nice together. I also really like the pop of neon from the shoes. Oooo have fun at pool job, I was going to work at the pool during the summer too. But I ended up volunteering at the zoo instead of at the pool.

Oh my word, this outfit is just gorgeous Ali!! I love it.
That blouse is stunning. I love how billowy and sheer it is. Plus, with the graphic print skirt, it's perfect :)
Oooh, sounds like a great place to snag some stuff. Can't wait to see these necklaces. That lady sounds like a sweetheart. Haha, how nice of her! I can't barter/haggle at all...my mom sure can though. You should see her at garage sales. Its unbelievable some of the deals she's made haha.
Anyway, sounds like the best job ever! I'm doing some job hunting (still...sigh) too.
I mean, Pokemon? I'm down with that :) What system do you use to play? In fact, you seriously play Pokemon!? Haha, I thought I was the only girl my age who did :D

Stop being so gorgeous. Seriously, photogenic much? I'm loving how you're working that batwing shirt with the patterned skirt. I have a shirt similar to yours and my friends used to always make fun of me and tell me to hang upside down like a bat. One day I will - show them what's what.

And pokemon at work? Dream job.
