Arsenic and Old Lace

I have good news! For my birthday, I received a new tripod! This means that my handmade tripod, Jean Bob (who was made from 3 sticks, a massive amount of hot glue, and a tin pie pan) will be succeeded by Jean Bob II. My mom saw how very pathetic, err awesome, Jean Bob was and had to lower me to a tripod that didn't radiate with so much greatness that it blinded the people of our valley. Along with a tripod, I was gifted lobster slippers (yessssss), various clothing articles, and reindeer antlers and big red nose for my car. I think it was a very good birthday. And now I must end this post shortly for my dog has run off with my whale plush for about the third time today. This is routine for me. Have a good day, citizens!

Shirt: from forever ago, Kohl's?
Skirt: gifted
Shoes: Dollhouse
Necklace: vintage, gifted by Gramma Nami
Purse: vintage

I love those shoes! They're so unusual!

Of course, it's a Canon Rebel XS and I LOVE it! I over-analyzed all SLR options, as well. The XS is very versatile and, being an amateur, I keep discovering new things I can do with it. I would definitely recommend it as a great starter SLR!

the details on this outfit are phenomenal. happy belated birthday, i just celebrated, as well!

full disclosure: i visited this site solely because i saw you left a comment on another blog saying you were into michael jackson's stranger in moscow and i'm obsessed with that song. i figured that the accompanying blog had to be awesome by default. i think i made a good decision.

Well happy belated birthday, it sounds like you got some fantastic gifts. It's my first time over to your blog and I wish I could see a picture of your first makeshift tripod, I don't want to appear rude, but the idea of it sounds pretttty funny.
