This Too Shall Pass

____Good citizens and blogosphere, how I have missed thee! I shall have some catching up to do and most definitely some intense commenting to do. The evil aura of exams has finally dissipated, so alas, I am free and giddy as a fish in a newly changed bowl of water.
____There is much cooking to be done in our household. I baked about 5 dozen chocolate chip cookies last night, but they are already halfway destroyed, as are the peanut butter cup cookies. It seems to never end! We've also decorated inside and out of the house, pluuus I made my teachers and friends some clay gifts which I will be posting pictures of soon!~ I still have some more things to make soon, too, for parents and brother, hummmm, must do that soon.
____So, yup. This is one of my outfits from exam week. It's funny how I'm more comfortable wearing something like this than jeans or sweats. Jeans make me feel so constricted and un-free from this mighty earth. Prancing around in tights, skirts, and dressies is much more fun and natural and great and wonderful. Hoorah! I hope you all are having a pleasantly cold day!

You are such an expert in the world of pinning up, mix and match outfit and colors. From the skirt, tights, to socks. Impressive!

Have a FAB day! (;

Your tights are AWESOME!

Oh my gosh, that sweater, that sweater!!
I love it, how I wish I could just curl up in it, so comfy and soft (so it would appear)

And your tights are wonderfully burgundy. I tried to get some but they look more red. Dissapointing.

Hooray for being done with exams!

I've got to bake a million cookies as well, let's hope we make it.

i love the tights so much! and are you an ok go fan? (the title is one of their songs)

yay! Done with exams! That's reason to celebrate and twirl around in a pretty skirt! I love the layered tights and bright socks, such a cute look.
I usually make about 9 different kinds of cookies this time of year to bring to my family and I've only made one kind, and they're all gone! boo to me!

AMAAAAAZZZZING. You look SO fierce. And I like how your outfit is like a gradient from dark to light. It's FIERRRCE GURRRL.

And I agree! Tights + skirts = 100% comfier than jeans. Plus jeans are so blaahhh. So when I wear them, I feel blaahhh and therefore less comfortable.

And ALSO, I want peanut butter cup cookies. They sound INCREDIBLE. Send them to me. Now. Please.

pheew!

I feel bad from having disappeared from the blogosphere for so long, I feel like I missed so damn much. >< For one, I really really like all the colors that are going on in this outfit (yellow socks, hello). Has it not snowed over there? It's gotten to slush and ice here, yayyy.

But YES. I shall email you soon about that certain challenge thingy that never lifted off (my fault entirely! sorry :( ). I missed you!

That skirt is genius and the way you wore it rocks (see what I did there? standing by rocks, harhar). The location is really apt too. Just fab!

And yes, ugly sweaters are the best (I dont think they're actually ugly). :P Merry Christmas to yaaa! Glad to see ya blogging again. I won't be fully active until I finish my apps. I know it's like less than two weeks til deadline, yes I am that much of a procrastinator.

I sort of have a list to go through here:

1. I really adore your blog name and header. It's incredibly lovely and original.

2. I adore your outfit even more. Your skirt is everything I love about patchwork anything. It's so much better than a boring old skirt made from one piece of material. Also, your color coordination would make my mother balk which, naturally, makes me smile. It's so fun and adventurous. And it makes me want to get off my shivering and whinning butt and try out something less typical than jeans (as I admit I revert to them almost always in the winter for fear of freezing too much).

3. Thank you SO much for commenting on my blog (Her Phantasmagoria). It means a lot as it's so new and a product of my serious love of creativity and presentation.

Happy holidays and I hope enjoy the never-ending baking! :)

I agree with the jeans. I'd choose skirts and tights over pants any day. Your patchwork skirt is to die for!! Please tell me which seller you got it from Etsy! :)

I've missed your blog dearly. :) But I'm glad to be back again. And what beautiful outfits you've cooked up in the meantime! This skirt is particularly lovely.....and I absolutely love how you styled it to bring out the many bright hues in it.

A bit late...but happy new year anyway.

Look forward to hearing from you
