Just Another Brick In The Wall

Navy2Navy5

______Here's a casual little somethin' somethin' that I'll shimmy on real quick when I need to slay a couple of dragons, sheepishly poke at bricks in my search for the entrance to Diagon Alley, or catch some wild Pokemon in areas infested with tall grass.  You know, mundane everyday tasks.

______I think this is one of few posts all summer where I've actually worn sandals, which is silly because the day these were taken, it was rather crisp and cloudy for a summer day.  I'm one to wear boots during the summer because my ankles get cold, and to me, there's nothing worse than sauntering around freely with cold ankles.  I must admit though, I feel a bit off-kilter not wearing obnoxiously colored socks.  They've definitely become a part of me.

______This actually is the first time I have worn my hair down in a few months. My hair turns this blinding white-gold in the warmer months when I'm outside cycling up a storm and frolicking in summery fields (and consequently being eaten alive by monster mosquitos); however, my eyebrows remain a shade of brown from one season to the next. Whatever, genes. Whatever.

Kisses! :)

I absolutely ADORE that shade of blue on you with your complexion and hair! It just brightens you right up and I can see how you'd feel like slaying dragons in your royal blue cape...er shirt :)
And look at you and your model-esque legs! The heels really give you legs for days.
Good luck packing and heading off for your junior year! How exciting...but packing for college is always so tough. I always wanted to bring my entire home with me to college!
And, haha I have really dark eyebrows too. Blondes, pfh.

Ohh Ali, your hair looks so beautiful! And this color is stunning on you. Loving the sandals, as well. Ahhhhh I miss college!

I love the cutoffs and the casual summer dragon slaying look. I, however love my sandals and always wear them long after its too cold for them.

You are perfect. Seriously. I think I say this in just about every post, but it's the truth and I can't help it!
Can we just talk about your hair?!?! The middle part totally suits you, and I am jealous of your pretty golden locks. Gahhh. Shampoo commercial hair much?
I love the denim cutoffs paired with your pretty blousy top and fancy necklace. So cute!
And your shoes?! Girl, those are the most perfect sandals ever!
I am with you on the cold ankles! I'm okay in the summer, but there is NOTHING worse in the winter months then frozen anklets. Or when your pants get wet from walking in the frozen slush and then stick to your ankles?! Oh man. I am getting cold ankles just thinking about it.
Can it be summer forever pleaseeee?!

I'll admit, I was searching for some polka dot or bright socks on your feet, but was a surprised to see them bare! Haha, they're definitely a signature look for you Ali :)
And yessss, Diagon Alley reference *high-five*. Totally get you on the everyday-tasks we have. Nobody else seems to get it around here. :/

Simple but adorable outfit, I like it! And I don't think I've seen an outfit post with your hair down before but it looks great.

Enjoy catching all your Pokemon and hanging out with Hagrid:)

What a cute outfit, especially to find the Diagon Alley entrance in! I love your hair down and in intricate hairstyles, it is such a pretty color!

Those shoes are so cute too, I am with you, I hardly ever wear sandals in the summer! I wear flats all the time, occasionally wedges. I love the jewelry you use to accessorize your outfits always! Your necklace and bracelet are so pretty and they pull it all together nicely!

Ms. Ali, where do I begin.

Between your gorgeous golden hair, your elegant outfit, and your amazing figure...well, all of it! You look amazing in these photos, girl! You always look amazing, but I love seeing your hair down like this and sporting such a beautiful blue color that suits you so well!

And if I do say so myself, I think you do a fantastic job at getting back at blog comments (well at least for me ;)). Which I have to say, always really impresses me, because I know you have many followers and commenters, but you always have time to be thoughtful and considerate of everyone! Thank you for being so super sweet Ali, your thoughtful and clever comments always make me smile :) Have a wonderful day, pretty girl!

Hi Ultra Chic Ali! Love the casual appeal, the shorts look amazing on you and highlight your incredible figure! The sandals are so cute...I think the socks have become quite your signature too. I too want to have the same everyday mundane tasks as you do and not the usual dishes, laundry bit *winks* Thanks for your lovely words on my last post!

Oh man, your hair is so gorgeous! I do think you should wear it down more often. What a beautiful hue of golden. I love the accessories; particularly the earrings and the sandals. Seriously, I WANT to steal your earrings, they've just got this antique like quality to them.

And your legs? Jealous. Really jealous.

Can my hair transform in the summer just like you? I guess it looks a little tiny teeny slightly bit browner in the sunlight but damn girl, white gold? Your hair is worth hundreds.

Also, you rock this shade of blue. But then again, you rock most colors but I'm going to tell you anyway. :)

Also, best part of your post: "yo they're just jean shorts"

Oh, Ali! I feel the same way. I don't like my feet or ankles getting cold either. And I feel like every time I finally decide to wear things that suit warmer temperatures, it gets chilly haha. Oh, well...

You look absolutely exquisite though! That elegant necklace pops so well against the deep indigo top and your brown bag contrasts so well. As for those pretty earrings, ah, I'm swooning. So sparkly and timeless! You really rock this casual chic look, girl!

Your hair looks lovely down, by the way (:

Have a lovely weekend!

I'm so late seeing this post, but I love this casual outfit! Your sandals are so super cute. I was surprised not to see some colorful socks, but I like them! Your hair looks so pretty too. It's such a nice shade of blonde. Plus it's a-okay that your eyebrows are darker than your hair. They're not supposed to match anyway!
