Holiday Lately

______Somehow, someway, I've gotten myself into a busy rut--and on the winter break, at that! I built myself a mega-canvas on Tuesday and have been painting on it ever since, and my, how time flies when you paint! Why, one of the clocks in my house sprouted wings and took flight after it witnessed me at work. Now it is out in the real world and will probably soar to a neighboring state and befuddle the citizens of a differing time zone.

______But I digress! Because of my severe case of the busy bees, I was unable to get any formal outfit pictures up this week; however, I have been snapping a few pictures here and there of myself and of all the scrumptious things I've been baking, so that counts for something, right? Close-ups of my face, my fashion junk, and sugar-filled goodies... what more could you ask for?

______Hope you guys have an excellent weekend! Be sure to devour everything you can, and watch out for flying clocks!

Your beautiful, beautiful hair. . . Even when my hair was long, I could never manage something like that!

Oooh, you bake such delicious looking goodies! Why can't we be roommates?? -_- Haha, looks so yummy Ali, I bet they taste even better too.
And everytime you do your hair so intricately I get insanely jealous. If only I had the patience...I like to refer to my hair as a wild beast. It's a mane that has a mind of it's own...sigh.
Anyway, I'll look out for isosceles triangles and you watch out for ravenous college students that may stumble into your kitchen!

Oh, I know exactly how you feel! When I used to paint, I would hole myself up at home and not leave the house for the entire weekend. It's so demanding but so worth it! Can't wait to hear about and hopefully see the final product!

Ahh, always so jealous of your elaborate hairstyles. And those red shoes are hot!

Mmmm, all of that food looks simply scrumptious. So perfect and festive. I wish you a warm, cozy break and a lovely holiday season, Ali!

Also love that braid bun--really pretty though I'm sure I'd mess it up somehow if I attempted it.

Mmm so many Christmas treats. I can't wait until my mom actually makes some Christmas cookies. We had to delay until after our trip up north so I guess they'll be New Year's cookies. That's fine by me!
