Witchy Woman

Witchy

______Some days, I want to dress myself like I'm some kinda fairy princess, wrapping myself in white and crowning my head with flowers, all while floating through the world like the most delicate of bubbles. Other days, I want to embrace my dark side (do I have one?), veiling myself in black and gold and probably turning naïve children into toads as I saunter evilly between the shadows cast by buildings.

______This is one of those other days.

______I don't know how people wear bras with shirts like this. Black will show, nude will show, silicon bras make boob-lacking folk like me look lumpier than a lump of coal, and no bra results in pokey pea nipples.  You just can't win.

______Midterms are coming, which is odd since I'm quite certain I just started the semester. I've got a lucky two papers due in the next few weeks, two writing tests, and two artist presentations. If you think being an Honors-based Art major is easy, let me know so I can purchase a tote-full of rotten fruit to toss furiously in your general direction. I am suffering slowly, but I suppose it's a happy, artsy kind of suffering.

I love your darker looks just as much as your princess/fairy/magic/unicorn/bubble-loving looks. <3 That top is simply awesome. Try wearing it with a nude or black strapless bra! Those are always life savers and I wear them with almost everything. Everything.

Good luck with your midterms in the next few weeks. They'll be over before you know it!!! WORK, GIRL.

Witchy Ali... I'm sure all of us have a dark side too but you would look like a really cute witch turning children into toads.

You could try strapless black bra. Does it still show? There is a kind of stick on bra too which seems to work on many but not on me.

Guuuurl, you look awesome. I love embracing all sides of our personalities with fashion! I'd probably go with a black strapless bra with shirts like that, but they're so freaking annoying.

Hi dear, this outfit is so great, I love all of the golden elements in that cropped sheet top. Don't worry, I've been there, and so I'm wishing you the best on your mid-terms! /Madison :-)

The skirt looks so beautiful and witchy indeed. I am suck for anything with aysmmetrical hem like that. I find tops like that tricky, but I have a peachy strapless bra which I find pretty handy.

Ah, you are the queen of mastering both darks and lights impeccably!!! I applaud you! You look absolutely dashing (edgy and dare I say, sexy!) in this amazing ensemble. I love the style, it's so fun and mysterious and perfect for the coming darker months.

Anyway, you look fabulous as usual Ali, really truly fabulous, and I hope that your midterms go well and just imagine how much better you will feel when they are alllll over! :) And then you can celebrate, yay!

I hope you are having a wonderful week, girl!

Hi dearest Ali! Even even your darkest goth punk moment, you are so elegant! The sheer shirt is so lovely, I have no idea how people wear it with or without the bra, I honestly didn't even notice the whole strap thing until you mentioned it. Those stick on ones are like band-aids, ouch! The skirt looks really suave too. Its so great to see you in this type of outfit. All the best with your exams, you will rock it! I know. I hope you have a fantastic week ahead darling.

Haha It's SO true!! How DO people wear tops and dresses like this without (or with?) a bra?? Hmm...
This dress is gorgeous though!! I love the little cross studs. You look amazing. Also, a dress that you can wear everyday AND on Halloween? Score!

Fabulous my dear friend. Dressing like a fairy princess...or one from the dark side is truly the best. It's outfits with this sort of inspiration that are the best. Love the gold detailing. Wishing you the best with midterms.

I remember midterms always coming so quickly as well! The first weeks just fly by. I can imagine the amount of projects and time that art majors have to put in is incredible! Good luck mi'lady!
This skirt is the epitome of cool. I love the ruffly hi-lo design and those are the prettiest tough girl boots I've ever seen.
Ehhh ya sheer tops...that's why I cannot wear shirts like that. I'd probably get arrested for indecent exposure of my lady parts, if you know what I'm saying. I just wear tank tops under everything! haha.
Also, thanks for always making my day with your sweet words! You're a dear :)

I like the beading on that top - and those boots edge it up!

How hot are you?! I love this all black outfit. So chic. And ahhhh midterms suck and I can totally relate to your anxiousness/stress. I go to an arts school and all of my friends assume I just dance and paint all day, but it's hard work!

This all black outfit really looks great on you...but so do the princess Zelda and the girly ones:)

There is satisfaction to be found in suffering I'm quite sure, I loved being an overworked student:)even at times when I hated it...because when you're doing something you love, you always enjoy it.
